Thanks for checking up. I am having a wonderful time! The clinic is definitely different from what I am used to but it is going to be a great experience, culturally and professionally! The health team are very welcoming and I have really enjoyed outreach. I accompanied a nurse to a local family home for a health check up and the lady made us cocoa. Everyone is lovely. Percy and Emma are excellent hosts as well! Its a pity that my housemates aren’t feeling the same way.
Mel might have told you that transport is a bit difficult for me. It has been fine! A little hassle for the first 2 days figuring out when the bus came but it’s all good now, a health worker lives in Nadi town so we both get to the clinic 30 min early 🙂 . I’ve enjoyed watermelon, pineapple and I found coconuts for $2.
