This project is focused on improving school environments in Tarrafal by restoring and upgrading essential facilities. As a volunteer, you’ll take part in a variety of renovation tasks such as painting classrooms, repairing playgrounds, building furniture, laying bricks, carpentry, landscaping, and more. Beyond the practical work, there’s plenty of room to unleash your creativity and help beautify the school grounds.
You’ll work closely with experienced local coordinators who will guide you throughout the process, providing support and sharing their knowledge. It’s a hands-on experience that allows you to make a real impact in the community while learning valuable practical skills.
While the work can be physically demanding, it’s also rewarding and fun—with creative projects woven in along the way. Safety is essential, so always use tools responsibly and don’t hesitate to ask for assistance when needed.
