Involvement Volunteers International Hi Lauren! The past weeks have been so different to everything I’ve ever experienced. It has been so eye-opening and inspiring, suuper intense and at times very challenging (in a good way) My students really taught me so much and will always have a special place in my heart.
I feel so thankful for all the beautiful people who wrote this little chapter with me, and I will always bring this experience with me! I truly loved it!
Highlights of the trip:
* Seeing progress in some of the students in my 2 grade class in Suva who were struggling more than others
* educating 8 grade on about our plastic ocean and teaching this environmental message through letting them use their creativity by recycling waste into art. (1 whole day of art workshop + showing clips from a documentary and teaching about the topic )Comments on team
Absolutely amazing! So helpful, always smiling and being so friendly to all of us! And soo good food, big variety and super friendly chef!
