IVI’s medical programs and our Fiji Public Health Outreach program qualify for CPD points required for Australian doctors. In partnership with ‘CPD Home’ who are accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC), you can gain your CPD points whilst giving back on one of our programs!

What is a CPD Home For?

The CPD Program offers a structured pathway for Australian-registered medical specialists, international medical graduates, PGY3+ trainees, and non-vocationally registered doctors to participate in an accredited continuing professional development program. Starting from 1st January 2024, enrolment in the CPD Program is mandatory for all subscribers.

Designed to deliver a comprehensive CPD framework, the program covers a broad spectrum of activities to meet the requirements across essential domains:

• Domain 1: Educational Activities
• Domain 2: Reviewing Performance and Measuring Outcomes

The CPD Program promotes seamless integration of education, training, and lifelong professional development throughout all stages of a medical career, aligning with the Standard.

Earn Your Points With IVI​

Partnering with CPD Home

IVI’s medical programs, as well as the Fiji and Vanuatu nutrition outreach program qualify for CPD points, which you can get accredited with our partner CPD Home.

CPD Home is an AMC-accredited provider designed to help doctors meet the updated CPD standards. CPD activities completed through Certified Learning Providers will automatically sync to your tracker. You can also upload records and evidence for any CPD learning you complete independently.

At the end of the CPD year, you can effortlessly generate your annual CPD Statement of Completion and CPD reports, ensuring you are fully prepared for audits.

Flexibility

The CPD Program acknowledges that medical practitioners, regardless of their career stage, engage in both formal and informal CPD as part of their daily work. Learning preferences and contexts vary, with practitioners facing different challenges in their professional environments. You may choose to learn online, in-person, or through a combination of both, depending on your personal and professional circumstances.

The program includes a wide range of approved CPD activities and offers sub-categories within each domain, allowing you to self-record activities relevant to your registered scope of practice, beyond the suggested options.

1. Sign up to CPD Home

Register with CPD Home and create your learning profile.

2. Create your CPD Plan

Write your CPD plan, including learning goals and topics.

3. Volunteer with IVI

Sign up to an eligible program with IVI to help towards your CPD points.

4. Complete Your 50 Hours

Complete remaining learning requirements and track your progress on CPD Home.

5. Review your
Progress

At the end of your CPD year, determine if you have met your learning objectives and goals.

6. Get MBA compliant CPD report

CPD Home will automatically notify the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) of your CPD compliance.
