IVI Video Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The competition commences 12:00am on Monday 21st April 2025 and closes at 11:59pm on Monday 5th May 2025.
2. Applicant Entry Conditions:
a. Applicants must be 16 year or over (16-17 years olds are required provide a letter of parental consent).
b. Provide a clear criminal background check
c. Meet any other requirements pertaining to the program (such as proof of medical studies, visas, etc)

3. Competition Rules:
a. Video entries and contact details from past volunteers must be submitted via IVI’s website via the competition page or by emailing us directly. Entries submitted after the competition closing date will not be accepted.
b. The competition is open to applicants worldwide assuming they meet the applicant entry conditions stated above.
c. By entering the competition, the applicant grants IVI permission to use their videos for promotional purposes on our site and social media channels.
d. If the winner cannot be reached or fails to claim the prize within 7 days of being notified, IVI reserves the right to revoke the prize and select a new winner.
e. The winner will be announced on IVI’s social media channels. By entering, the applicant consents to having their name posted as the winner.
f. IVI reserves the right to modify dates and entry conditions at any time without prior notice.
g. IVI reserves the right to cancel or modify the competition if circumstances beyond its control have affected its administration.
h. Entries must not contain any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate images/videos. IVI reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these guidelines.
i. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or affiliated with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok in any way.
j. The winner will be required to fill out IVI’s application form and agree to our terms and conditions.

4. The Prize
a. The winner will receive a free 1-week program from the eligible programs stated above. The non-refundable application fee of $299 still applies and must be received by IVI before redeeming the prize. All prices are in USD.
b. If the winner chooses to extend the 1-week eligible program, they must pay the remaining balance for the program.
c. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to someone else.
d. The winner must book a start date for their volunteer program no later than 12 months from the competition closing date. If the winner is not able to travel within this time frame under any circumstance, they will forfeit the prize.
e. Flights, visas and travel insurance are not included. The winner must check the specific program page for information on what is included in the program they have chosen.
