The Childcare project focuses on supporting children from underprivileged neighbourhoods by creating engaging activities that encourage learning and development. Volunteers are encouraged to design daily activities that promote physical development (such as music, dance, and games), language and literacy, arts and crafts (like painting and drawing), and theatre. The aim is to give disadvantaged children in Morocco access to enriching experiences that inspire creativity and growth.
Volunteers on the childcare project work with the kids from disadvantaged neighborhoods that have limited access to good and decent education. Volunteers are expected to provide assistance and care to the kids through activities like drawing, painting, playing songs and doing games while helping improve kids’ cognitive skills and learning capacities. The volunteers work 5 days a week and 4 hours at least per day.
Volunteer’s Role:
• Come up with new ideas and prepositions
• Assist the nurses with organizing the activities
• Bring support and positiveness to the center
• Embrace values of fairness and diversity
Location
Rabat, Morocco’s capital, is a relaxed yet fascinating city on the Atlantic coast. It’s less chaotic than Marrakech but still full of character, with a UNESCO-listed medina, historic kasbahs, Andalusian gardens, and a stunning seafront. As the political and administrative hub of Morocco, Rabat blends modern infrastructure with traditional culture, making it an ideal location for volunteers to live and work.
